The Fine Print

So, what's the catch?

There really isn't a catch. We're going to spell out all the details for you before you make your decision. Informed clients are happier clients and we believe in open lines of communication. We're working on your site for you, so you are the most important part of our team.

Let's start by giving you a promise. We promise that we will NEVER sell or share your email address or personal information to anyone for any reason other than when required to do so by law through a court order. We do not send out newsletters or SPAM, and other than emails between you and your designer during the course of your project you will not receive any emails from us.

All of our packages require a 20% non-refundable deposit before we begin work. Once that deposit is received we will dive right in on your project. If you're just starting out and we are going to secure your domain name and web hosting you'll also need to send those fees before we can get started, but remember that those fees are subtracted from your total package price. You will own your domain name and control your web hosting once your site is built, and even if you decide to cancel your project we'll still turn over control of the domain and web hosting to you.

Once you have paid your deposit you will get a username and password on our site, which will give you access to our trouble-ticket system. If there are problems with your site you can submit the issues through this system and we'll address them ASAP. You have direct access to us when you need us.

All custom art projects and custom Flash projects are negotiated through those specific designers on a per-project basis and those fees are separate. You do not have to let us design your entire site to take advantage of our talented Flash designer or artist. We allow them the freedom to work on a freelance basis and negotiate terms and payment with you in a way that will be mutually satisfactory.

Please remember that, depending on what type of page layout you choose, some of your navigation menus, buttons, logos, and headers are image files and will count toward the total number of images included in your package without an extra charge. If you choose to have a custom flash menu, logo, or banner that does constitute a custom flash project and will have to be negotiated through our flash department, and possibly our art department. We want to make sure every potential client knows these things up front so there are nothing but pleasant surprises during your experience with us.

Once your site is completed to your satisfaction and we have your approval to take it live, payment of the balance is owed within 14 buisness days. We accept paypal (preferred) or checks by mail, but there is an additional 7 business day wait period for checks to clear before work is started. There will be a $25.00 NSF fee assessed for all returned checks. All prices are in US dollars.

Three months of web maintenance is included with all our packages. During this three month period, we will work with you or one of your designated employees through email and/or live chat to familiarize you with how to maintain and update your site. We will make sure you know how to change your administration passwords and how to handle your account with your web host. If you're a small business and you don't have the time or staff for web maintenance, additional months of web maintenance can be purchased for $100.00 per month or $250.00 per three month package.

The content of your site is your responsibility. FrozenCoyote Labs will not design sites that promote or sell any illegal products, service, or practices. You are responsible for securing the copyright permissions for any photos, product images, sound files, or applications you submit to us for use on your site.

Once your site is completed you'll get a link on our site. Our future clients could become your customers!
